Shallipopi has ‘Allergies’ and it’s broke Bs

The Plutomania Records general, Shallipopi, has officially landed with his latest street-certified payload, a gritty new single titled Allergies. Known for his usual conversational talk-singing flow and his unrivaled ability to command the lifestyle narrative of the modern tech-and-hustle generation, the Edo-born superstar delivers a track that feels like a peek into his current state of mind. It is a bold, rhythmic record that doubles down on the unfiltered energy that initially catapulted him to superstardom.

Co-produced by Jazzman Beatz and Cooq, the instrumental for Allergies is a dark, heavy, and hypnotic blend of mid-tempo amapiano log drums and traditional Edo percussive loops. The beat moves with a menacing bounce, leaving vast pockets of space for Shallipopi to drop his signature laid-back bars and comedic ad-libs. The mix is raw and bass-heavy, custom-built for car stereos, late-night club sets, and viral street choreography.

Lyrically, Allergies is a brilliant, quick-witted exploration of boundary-setting, financial success, and street politics. The title itself serves as a metaphor for his tolerance levels, Shallipopi lists the specific things, behaviors, and “broke bvtches” he is suddenly allergic to now that he is sitting at the high table of the music industry. His wordplay is packed with local street slang and sharp Pidgin proverbs that instantly resonate with his core demographic, transforming a personal declaration of boundaries into a communal anthem for the everyday hustler.
